So while I was visiting a friend studying abroad in Europe this spring, I met this gorgeous Italian girl who was also on vacation. I've been studying Italian at college for the past 2 years so I know enough to be able to carry a conversation (although my speaking is far from perfect). The girl loved this, especially since young Italians seem to love Americans. She speaks English as well, although not as well as I speak Italian. We kind of switched between the two languages the two times we hung out in Budapest, especially when one of us was having trouble expressing something in one language. We ended up connecting through FB and spoke a little once we'd both returned from our trips. I hadn't talked to her for a while until today, when she messaged me after I posted about the Italy-Germany game. She told me that she's going to be visiting my city for a few days at the end of July while on vacation and that she wants to see me while she's here.

Now, there is most definitely a bit of a language barrier between the two of us as neither of us has complete mastery of one another's native languages. My question is does anyone have any experience dealing with a language barrier when trying to seduce someone? If so, what are some of the best ways to overcome it?
