So, as some of you may have read earlier, I went to an EDM festival today, specifically Identity Festival.

At one point during the night I saw a girl dancing by herself. I was by myself as well. She was really cute, and I forced myself to go talk to her. The conversation went like this:

Me: tap tap - "What's your name?"

Her: "I'm [insert name here]."

Me: "Cool, I'm AnonymityFTFW."

couple seconds pass

Me: "You enjoying Identity Fest?"

Her: "Ohhh yeahh."

At this point, I pause the talking because of the loud music making it hard to have a real conversation. I try to subtly move closer to her. About a minute or so later she asks me:

Her: "Do you know what time it is?"

Me: reach for my phone and show it to her

Her: walks away

A couple minutes go by before I turn around and see her dancing by herself again about 20 feet back. She didn't leave. I left that stage and came back about 30 minutes later and she was still dancing in the same area by herself.

Looking back on this, I realized I should have told her "no" when she asked for the time. I wonder how that would have played out.

TLDR: Shit test: "Do you know what time it is?" Fail if you tell her the time. Pass if you don't. Not always a shit test, but can be if thrown at you out of the blue.
