I've got a friend who I think might be interested but I dont want to be in a relationship right now. I need advice on how to make it clear that I'm just looking for something more casual ( not a relationship) without coming off as a jerk or risking losing her as a friend.

How should I play this one. Should we go out in a group setting and try to hook up and figure it out/clarify it later? Or should I just do something solo one night? Or does that imply relationship...

TL;DR How do I make my intentions clear while preserving the friendship.
