[FR] Texting to meetup, not asking them to hangout but telling them to meet somewhere

Sidenote: we have met up before and we've been friends for about 4 months

So I told her to "meet me at ___" while including a little bit of small talk. I've used a similar technique to her before, which worked on all the times I've used it. She said she was busy and didn't offer another day, which was good enough for me to say that she wasn't interested at all, even as friends (not even friendzoned, feels bad man). I said something like "maybe next time then :)", which a sedditor suggested a few days ago in case of something like this. No response.

tl;dr: The "not asking them to meetup but telling them where and when to meetup" technique isn't foolproof.
