Hi r/seduction. I recently wrote about the 7 main types of interpersonal attraction, and I thought it might be of interest to redditors here. I also included a link to a survey that you can take (twice) to determine what 3 main types of attraction (physical, task, or social) you look for more in a relationship.

My Background

I want to say that I am not an expert (yet!) in this area, but I do study communication for several hours a week; I am an Interpersonal and Organizational Communication major which means I am involved in the social science of the interpretation of communication.

Relevance

Still unsure how this is relevant to /r/seduction? Well, at lot of the research done in what I study and blog about (Communication Studies) leads to an understanding of how we view and act in relationships, how men and women communicate differently, how we communicate in groups, language, rhetoric, persuasion(!), and so on! Understanding communication does not immediately lead to better communication - to do that you need hands on experience - but it does help when you are in moments of confusion or in need of an understanding of a situation.

In this particular post I am sharing, I cover 7 types of attraction; physical, social, task, sexual, relational, chemical, and fatal. Understanding these types of attraction may help you get a better view on your relationships, and help you define where they are, or not, going.
