I came home for the weekend and it just happened to be homecoming weekend at Illinois State. My buddy who gave me a ride had to go because his Grandma was dying so I was basically stuck on ISU's campus until I found a ride. I saw some guys smoking outside, bummed a smoke and chatted for a bit. They invited me to their huge party (50 to 75 people). I started drinking and got pretty tipsy, danced with everyone and made out with a HB8 sorority girl. Ended up walking out with a different girl and left to the park in Uptown (giant grass circle). We made out for a bit, but she had to leave. Ended up at Jimmy John's to get food and met up with some other people who invited me to another party and finally got a ride home from a friend at 4 in the morning

Lesson learned was that you just can't give a fuck, if you do you are only missing out on opportunities. I think the alcohol helped me not to care as much, but I realized I didn't know anyone at these parties so whatever I did didn't really matter. I talk to everyone now, but last night was by far the most successful night I've had in a very long time. Thank you guys for teaching me.
