This past Saturday night started as standard fare, but turned into something much more just because I was in the right place and the right time. It is of my personal opinion that as much work as you put into learning Kino, how to dress well, good pickup lines, etc., many situations can boil down to pure luck and good timing. This does not excuse poor preparation; any experienced PUA is going to tell you that you need to be geared up for any situation and stay confident no matter how much gets out of your hands.

Onto the story, it's a normal Saturday afternoon: I'm with my family in the beautiful city of Columbus, OH watching a very close Ohio State Football game. We pull out a clutch overtime win, and a good friend of mine texts me about an after party at her house starting at around 9:00pm; we will call her Amy. I pick up a friend and we walk on in. A few hours later, I've had three black bitches, two shots of vodka, and I'm outside smoking a cigar with Amy's little sister and we're just talking about school, work, and some other standard shit. She goes back inside, takes quite a few more shots and gets pretty smashed. I have two Red Bull & Vodkas and start feeling the alcohol a bit more. I don't know what it is about vodka, maybe it is the situations that I'm drinking it in, but it always gives me a little extra confidence and motivation to find a girl. I look around and find no one. None of these girls really appeal to me until I see Amy's little sister again; maybe it was the vodka but I basically decided this was going to be my girl that night. Even in my incredibly inebriated state, I had the wit to go over to Amy and actually ask if this was cool; her sister was very drunk and this was Amy's house, I didn't want to disrespect the hostess. I got a thumbs up and I went for it; I asked Amy's sister if she wanted to go to the back with me, and she went. She knew what was up and we where making out on a couch somewhere and feeling great. She was riding up against me and I thought I might get more than a K-Close, but then this happened: my ex-girlfriend walked in the back and saw us.

This may not seem like a big deal, but I've been making a conceited effort to try and get back together with this girl. She's seriously the type of girl I actually considered marriage with, I enjoy her company and she's the type of girl that completely brights up my day when I see her walk in, except for this time. She just walked right past us, but tweeted something along the lines of: "It's sad to see a guy with so much potential waste his time on pointless, drunken hookups." We're opening a whole other can of worms with this one, but it basically seeing her and later that tweet got me thinking about some old problems with our relationship and really ruined the mood for me. I left Amy's sister and left the party with some friends to buy more vodka.

A few hours later, I'm riding my bike home (it seems kind of gay and can prevent you from taking a girl home, but I don't trust myself to drive) and just minding my own business. A Honda CRV pulls up and someone screams at me from the back window. I'm a little startled, but I just assume it's someone from the party and keep riding. A minute later, a car is driving down the middle of a park, cutting right across and nearly hitting me. I was able to ride up a curb and get onto a yard to avoid getting wrecked, but the driver just jumps out anyways, drunk as fuck. She yells at me:

HEY! WHO ARE YOU? YOU LOOK HOT!

I was pretty pissed that a drunk driver almost ran me over, but I was piss drunk myself and was probably not making the best choices either:

Haha, you look pretty cute too.

.

Haha, do you want to come up to my apartment right now?"

Then some disgrunled voice yells out from the CRV:

You can fuck him later, let's go to bed!

She decides to take a picture with me and gives me her number.

The next morning, I get a text from a friend called Sarah, saying that she was passed out in the back of the CRV and that they where going through pictures on their phone when one of me pops up. The formerly drunk girl explains the whole situation and from what Sarah said, she seemed legitimately interested in sleeping with me, even sober.

I guess if there's anything to take away from this it should be three things: * Liquid courage * Don't let exes ruin a good time * Remain calm

Thanks for reading, this is my first Seddit post so criticize me all you want or tell me where I fucked up. Peace
