Hello all. I am new to this subreddit, but I have read the material on the sidebar and I still have a question. Most of the advice seems to set up a sterile environment where it's just you and the girl and she is giving you 100% undivided attention for you to "try your lines".

In the real world it doesn't work like that, I found. Girls are rarely out by themselves. And when I say rarely I mean never. I have never seen a girl out alone in a bar or a club (except the beach, but that isn't a social place and most girls will be reading and looking disinterested in everyone and everything but themselves).

So, my question is, how do you approach a girl in a group? How do you talk to a cute girl who is with her friend, or a group of friends (mixed or just girls)? Do you watch the girl, wait until she is alone and then pounce in a predatory fashion?

Just approaching a girl in a group is a bit harder because now you're not trying to get the approval of one person, but the approval of her friends as well. Be sure that her friends will be watching your moves and listening to what you have to say so that after the conversation they will talk to her about it.

Or, do you just waltz in there, ignore the group and talk to the girl as if she's the only one there? And then leave with a farewell acknowledgment to the group? Or do you acknowledge them at the beginning and then focus on the girl?

This is why I'm here, seddit. I ask these questions because the only places I get to see and interact with new girls is in bars when I'm out.

P.S. When a girl is talking to me one-on-one I find that I can hold the conversation well, be flirty, joke with her, make her feel comfortable, etc. but it's getting to that point that is the problem.
