So, this might belong on a fashion thread but at the same time here so here it goes.

I have long hair, Like if its wet the it comes and touches my lip, when dry I keep it flipped away from my eyes.I keep it well groomed and stuff but its defiantly needing a cut. The girl who cuts my hair and is in her mid 20's, good looking, and in the party scene (I think). The age difference between us is enough that I don't get nervous talking to her or anything. I'm thinking of going in and just saying "do whatever you want just dont give me a buzz cut" so that I get something that looks good. I know she wont just give me a typical "male" haircut as she calls it.

Is this a good idea or is does this have the potential to blow up in my face?
