My sister has a fibroid (tumor) next to her uterus, but she's still young and obviously doesn't want anything damaged so she can have kids.

She asks me to come along to the appointment.

The surgeon is a woman. She's nice. Seems to know her stuff. So at some point I ask, "Can you share how many of these surgeries you've performed, and were there any bad results?" She responded, "I don't know. I've been a surgeon a long time." To which I replied, "so you're unwilling to tell us how many of these you've done or you can't put together numbers, results, risks?" At which point her face turned red and she lost her shit. Told me, "you're pissing me off", and I just said, "I don't care." Then she stands up, "Who are you that I have to prove myself to you?" > "That's part of your job or we'll use someone else." > "I'm the best at this in this entire city!!"

She asks my sister to speak in private and drags her in another room. Sis said she started to say, "I just don't know how many I've done" over and over.

I'm not trying to frame control or do anything here. I'm a business guy. I need hard facts, not fucking Google reviews. Are my questions unreasonable here? Shouldn't surgeons be able to tell you how many of what kind they've performed, what the results were, and what the potential risks are?

She has been a surgeon forever. She does have a flawless online reputation. But in the back of my head I'm thinking... what the fuck is going to happen if she's doing surgery and something goes wrong? She can't even handle a basic question. She's arrogant too, which doesn't scream experience to me.
