So I have two different occasions where the same event happened.

First situation: I hooked up with a girl on New Years (I was dressed the best I could, black tux, as the host required, wearing my patented black Bow tie), made out with her slightly then shortly later I got her number then walked home. I texted her three days later (stupid rule) asking her out on a date to go biking to an awesome place (we both love our bicycles); she declined and said she was busy that day, so I was cool and told her to have fun. Two days roll by an its her birthday, I wish her a very happy birthday and I get a response a day later... So I just say:"fuck it" and move onto the next girl.

Second situation: I get all suited up and go to a club night at my college (college clubs trying to recruit more members) I am in two clubs and walk around talking to everyone I know and people come up to complement me (obviously on my awesome bow tie). So a friend of mine comes up to me and tells me that the girl at the graphic design is "really into me". So I walk over to her table and chat her up (not my best attempt, I stuttered a bit) I somehow get her number and tell her about a comedy show that my friend is performing in, that's when I got her number. So I text her later that I am heading out, she said that her night class is going end around 10pm so I said to have fun. I text her tonight that I'm going to a jazz club after my night class (we both are huge music fans); I still have not received a reply.

My question is: What am I doing in order to not get a second chance at a date? What are your thoughts on this? What would you recommend I do in the future? How do her past this stage?

Thanks.
