After she told her your name, the dialogue should have looked a little different in order for success.

you should have said something less upfront.

A simple example would be something like this:

You - "oh, you look a lot like this girl I met a while ago. My name's ___" (lean in for a handshake if you feel comfortable doing so and make sure to keep smiling as well as maintain eye contact!)

"You're really pretty" shows too much interest right away.
