It worked for you here, but I would say not to make a bet forcing them to do something(go on a date, give you their phone number, etc.) for you if they lose, even if you know ahead of time they are going to be into it.

I thought it was a shit test, to see if she could become the 'woman in charge'. Instead I wanted to win, because that's just who I am. It seemed to me that it would be better to win, and still kiss her.

Well, I'd argue that letting her win and still getting the kiss would have put her in a great mood (who doesn't love winning?), and she would POTENTIALLY associate that feeling with you from then on, or atleast for the rest of the evening.
