Be a child. (work with me on this for a second.)

Today I was at a social gathering where young parents were encouraged to bring their children, so there's tons of these guys running around. Got distracted from the adult world for a second, watching how these future seducers and seduced interact while still innocent. Here's how being a child can help you!

  1. If a kid wants something (particularly boys) they either tell the person or take it. "I want that truck!" or he'll just grab it. Be aggressive, and act on your urges.
  2. A child has no problem looking someone in the eyes (unless they are in trouble.) Seriously, I've had children stare me down before. They have no social norms or peer pressure constraints yet, so eye contact isn't scary at all.
  3. If something is funny, a kid will laugh. and not just the socially acceptable amount, they laugh for as long as it entertains them. In the same vein, they love to make others laugh, particularly their parents or parents' friends. When others are laughing and attention is on them, they thrive. Be the party!
  4. Last and most importantly, kids really don't give a fuck. They sleep if they're tired, they take their shoes off, and they ram trucks together til the day is done. They aren't old enough to have learned all the weird dynamics that make us adults awkward with each other. The way they just do what feels right to them is inspiring. IF YOU REMEMBER FOUR THINGS FROM THIS!
  5. Kids act on their urges, and don't hesitate to tell people what they want.
  6. Kids will stare adults down, with no fear.
  7. Kids love to entertain and be the center of attention, and enjoy enjoying themselves.
  8. Kids just don't give a fuck. IF YOU REMEMBER JUST ONE THING! (seriously, dude? couldn't remember four things?) When you're young, you don't know about fear, shame or social awkwardness. Recreate that!
