I've lurked here a long time, first time posting. Anyway, I have a friend who is in middle school. I see him as the little brother I never had. Recently he has finally started being curious about dating and girls. He asked for advice and I gave him what I could.

So far I've told him:

Women, like any subject in school, requires study. Just because you are smart in general does not mean you will have any idea how to handle women.

They will test you, ask you to do things for them. Respect yourself, you don't owe anyone anything.

Speak with passion, do not hide who you are to benefit in the moment. Be yourself, what's more, be yourself with conviction. Never apologize for being genuine.

Never apologize for things you say. Think before you speak, the less you say the more weight your words carry. Actions mean more.

Speak with everyone. You are everyone's new best friend until proven otherwise. You are a wolf, there is no pace in this world for a shy wolf or an outspoken sheep. You are one or the other.

Once you get a girlfriend you will notice that other girls you never would have thought are attracted to you will be attracted to you. In short, women want what they cant have.

Any more pearls of wisdom I can pass on to him? Or anything I've said that I need to correct?
