Seddit is becoming like every other subreddit, where simply saying you're a woman in your post will get you upvoted. Aren't we supposed to be different than this?
Don't get me wrong, I've seen some terrific posts from women here. A couple of months back I read a really well written FR that really helped and contributed to this subreddit. I consistently see some good posts from women.
But as seddit gets more popular and more women come here I'm beginning to see a lot of comment/threads that are simply being upvoted because the OP's sentence starts with, "As a woman who likely nothing about pickup, here's my unpractical opinion..."
Women are just like anyone else here, would you upvote a guy to the top if he was a complete newb who's never even tried to approach one person?
- Please judge posts on their merits, just because it's a man or a woman does not mean they have something valuable to say, judge the contents not the person!
I feel like the we're losing the message here, there's increasingly more noise in this subreddit, the message is getting diluted.
We have to adjust our behavior, seddit has 120,000 readers now. If we upvote every person who strolls here just because they're a certain gender it's going to ruin the topicality of this subreddit.
Another issue is all the "pep talk", this subreddit has become all pep-talk with little to no game plan.
It was address here already, I think it would be valuable to read this again.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
