I started studying seduction after I got out of a 6 year relationship. She was my first girlfriend and I didn't know how to be single, which was kind of shameful seeing as I was 27 at the time.

I did a lot of practicing. It sucked at first because I was completely awkward and still put women on pedestals. But eventually I got to number closing, went on several dates, even f-closed once. This is over the course of about 2 years.

Fast forward to a few months ago. I met the girl of my dreams and I knew exactly how to play my cards. I knew exactly how to read her. And I knew exactly how to make her mine. We've been together for a few months now and I couldn't be happier.

I thought I would never love again after my last relationship. I guess I want to thank seddit (and the overall seduction community) for everything I've learned. It's not easy, and there never really is a goal in sight most of the time, but rest assured that every failure is definitely not a waste of time and will bring you one step closer to the long journey of becoming the man you need to be to finding your true happiness in life.

My tips: get good at a fun hobby you can be proud of and share (I'm a musician which really helps), practice good posture, conversation, and eye contact. Most of all, get good at reading signals and act on them without hesitation (unless it's cute hesitation which requires good timing and can be quite charming if it's intentional). Talk to lots and lots of girls. If you have trouble meeting girls, make friends with men who have contact with a lot of girls. Alcohol can help too, but don't get obnoxiously drunk. Don't be overly aggressive, but be assertive. Above all: MAKE PLENTY OF MISTAKES AND LEARN FROM THEM!

I am by no means an expert on PUA and seduction, but I just wanted to say that I am happy for the first time in a long time and wanted to thank the community for their help.
