There's a girl that I've been involved w for a few months. We've had a rough patch here or there but overall it's been good. She say she was looking for something serious, but unfortunately I'm leaving the country for grad school at the end of summer. She kinda realized this thing had an expiration date on it and got distant about a month ago and then hit me with "I think we should just be friends"

No worries. Not my first rodeo. Deleted the number and never talked to her again. She later found out that I was accepted into grad school, (she just knew that I was seriously applying before hand) and blew my phone up with texts. Didn't respond to a single one.

She saw me at a party Saturday, first time since we "ended things" and we ended up going back to my house for the night to kclose.

One of the problems we had was my lack of time to date bc of my job, but now my schedule is freed up and I legitimately enjoy hanging out with this girl.

Should I treat Saturday like it was a drunk mistake and nothing more? Or would there be any merit in calling her up and asking her on a date this week?

Not trying to get in a serious relationship before I leave, but wouldn't mind hanging out with this chick before I left.
