I've finally been able to identify what i feel are my sticking points. I'll point these out as I go along, i'll appreciate any feedback.

Started the night at an art gallery. Opened a mother daughter two set, the mom was still a 7 the daughter a 9. I opened and the set hooked, we had a nice little chat. Most of the conversation was with the mom, i tried to tease the daughter a bit. It was a nice little 5min conversation, then i moved on, mom gave me like a half hug. I then opened one of the artists, she was really cool, we talked about the meaning of her pieces, i really enjoyed talking with her. I saw a ring on her left ring finger and I let that make me stop talking to her. Then my buddy ran into some old friends, it was two girls, we talked to them for a bit, then 2 more girls came and we were now in a 4set, these girls were really enjoying chatting with us. So I used the gallery as a warm up.

We then went out to a club, but it was early, 10pm. There were 2 girls at the bar, I opened, it was weak, i ejected by just walking away. Then I saw a one set sitting at at table by herself. I went over and sat with her and asked her her name. She was waiting for friends. When her friends got there I had her introduce me to them, I said hi and ran out of things to say to I politely ejected. I then opened a girl asking her about her hair, half buzzed hair. She was cool. She was in a moving set and stopped to talk to me as her friends who were part of the moving set kept walking. She was a bigger girl so i just said nice to talk to you and went to another bar.

At this other bar I met two girls before getting in. She was wearing some odd pants and I commented on them, that was my open. She was super playful. I know this set completely hooked. My target started asking me a lot about myself. Here's my sticking point. Set hooks, IOIs from my target. Where do I go from there? I definitely should have started kino from the start as I was being playful and knew this chick was way into me. We had a great like 10 minute conversation. They went over to the bar I told them id meet up with them later because I wanted to open more. I then opened another two set, i wasnt interested in the girls I just wanted the social momentum. I chatted with them for about 15 minutes. Then saw this beautiful dark girl. I commented on her big hair, she loved it and we talked about how a persons hairs style is an extension of the personality. Again, this set hooked and it was on. I told her I was going to the restroom (i was) and she said she hopes she sees me later and gave me a hug.

I then went to the outside area of the bar, opened a 10. She laughed at the shit I said, asked my name. I forget what I said but it was something kinda funny, she and her friend laughed when I told them they're so ying yang. Seemed like they liked that cold read. But then she said it was nice to meet you and turned around. Not in a bitchy way, just super friendly. Next two set kind of opened me. I was standing and these two girls just walked by very slowly and as soon as one of them made eye contact i said hi. And she leaned in very close and said hi back, super high energy. I wasn't as high energy, but i feel because i was super centered and congruent at the moment I was able to bring them back down to a more chill conversational mood. We chatted for a while. I think I lost her while trying to push pull. she kept asking my nickname and tuggin at her hair while talking to me. I kept ignoring her and talking to her friend. So when i finally acknowledged her i saw the bamby eyes. The set ended when i asked where she was from, i said ohh i dont think we'll get along. I said it in a playful way, she laughed, i grabbed her by the hand trying to pull her in. She took my hand but didnt pull in when i said the comment about it not working out for us because shes from washington. lol. Then i opened another two set. It was just chill friendly. I kinoed a ton, lower back, I did NOT tease alot but still number closed one of the girls.

Last set of the night i saw a target i really wanted. Blonde, tall, just daaamn. She was sitting at a table with two friend. I walk to the table sit down, and comment on her hair. She laughed and immediately introduced herself. I knew i was in. But i blew it after that, but was happy that I've been hooking sets. I didnt know whether to only talk to my target so i engaged the entire set. I now realize i let the energy of the set take over (it was super low), and that by engaging her friends i forgot to bust on my target, which has been working so well for me.

I did not edit this post, off the cuff, didnt even reread a sentence.

TL;DR Im finally hooking sets and am getting IOIs from the target. Dont know where to go from there. Sometimes I run out of shit to say. what do i do when i go blank? How do i move things forward?
