I wasn't sure whether or not I even wanted to go out tonight. I'm glad I did. I started out walking aimlessly as usual when I'm bored and don't want to sit around the house. This time I ended up at a bar that was surprisingly packed. I opened up a four set by introducing myself to the guy in the group first. A good move on my part even if it didn't go anywhere. I even joked that it was a good idea that I talked to him first and referred to him as the guardian of the group. Afterwards It became obvious to me that I need to work on social skills with people my own age (I'm 24.)

After that set I opened up a few random sets and started dancing around with random women while a live band was playing. Even though that went nowhere, at least It opened me up to some basic kino escalation which came in handy later.

I was in a pretty good mood and offered to dance with an older but very attractive brunette, I couldn't tell you what her HB level is mostly because I don't care for the number system. She agreed and something in me just clicked on. I wasn't the least bit hesitant to kino escalate and dance with her. Maybe it was the alcohol, or the earlier sets who knows. Although I found out she was dating a member of the band, It didn't bother me. I had fun and I went farther with kino escalation than I have in a long time. The point of this field report is that outcome independence is an incredible state of mind to have in and of itself, whether you get your HB or not. It feels good to just cut loose and enjoy life, and now I know that I'm on the right path. Soon I'm sure that you'll be reading a field report where I end up closing.

TLDR- Go out for the hell of it and cut loose. You might enjoy yourself whether walk home with an HB or by yourself.
