Ladies, How do you feel about a guys pursuit despite your lack of interest in him?

Though most of my friends are girls and they share a lot of stories with me, many on this very subject. Really their reaction is not much different from a man's reaction if a guy or girl were pursuing them after they made a lack of interest clear.

They typically react to it rather poorly when they're not interested AND he doesn't take the hint to leave them alone when they want him to.

I'm not sure what the relevance of this question is. By all means, be bold in approaching and investigating the possibilities with a girl, but once it's clear that she's not interested in you, what's the appeal in continuing pursuit?

Hate it. I told one guy it was like "rape lite" he keep going after I directly told him no.
