Hey seddit. Long time lurker, first time poster. A bit of background on me. For most of my teenage and young adult life I've been surrounded by serial monogamists. Friends that love being in relationships. Only after I moved out of my city, did I realize that I have much to learn. I've been reading this subreddit for about 3 months now and a few of the things that really stuck out were: 1) looking out for signs and signals. I now know when a girl is giving an IOI or when a girl does not give a shit

2) stopped masturbating! Well I didn't stop, but cut down from once (several) times a day, to once every two days. I instantly gained some extra horsepower.

3) Open everyone and be friendly. Guys and girls. I used to approach girls for the sole purpose of starting a relationship (yep, I was that guy). I would look at a girl and imagined our first kiss, dating, meeting her parents, marriage, divorce and alimony for our two kids. (not that extreme, but you know what I mean).

Keep up the good work seddit. I'm kinda showing up late to the party, but I'm here and hope to learn more.
