How should one approach a female if she's a lot younger than him?

Playful witty banter. Cocky funny. Tease her. Make her laugh. Don’t take it seriously.

Same rule for all ages.

Unfortunately, men tend to default to having “serious adult interactions” with women. If you’re 27 and you meet another 27 year old you can easily slip into one of many comfortable tropes. “So what do you do for a living?” “Want to go a very standard unimaginative dinner date?” “So, what do you think about that latest news story?”

It’s POSSIBLE to interact with an age-match woman like that, but it’s not EFFECTIVE. It might get you somewhere if she sees you as her beta bux, but it won’t get you sleeping with three separate women in the same weekend.

It’s harder to be playful and witty, to be cocky funny, to tease her, and to not take her seriously. It takes confidence and imagination. It’s harder, so most men don’t do it. You just default to being boring instead.

The problem with much younger women is that they have zero tolerance for serious-boring mode. Go up to a hot 16 year old and try to talk to her about politics, or try invite her on a cliche dinner date. She’ll just be like “Umm, wut? Does not compute. Go away boring beta boy.” The 27 year old might bite, the 16 year old won’t.

With the 16 year old cocky funny is MANDATORY. Teasing her is MANDATORY. Making her laugh is MANDATORY. Taking the unambiguous lead is MANDATORY.

Go up to her and say “Jesus, they let 16 year olds wear clothes like that these days?” Maybe she’ll half flash you or shake her boobs at you, and playfully stick her tongue out at you. Stick your tongue out back at her and pretend to shake your “boobs” back at her.

Buy her some food or something. Sarcastically say “I’ll get this one, but you’re getting the next one.” It’ll be evident that that’s not true, because you’re an adult man with money and she’s still 16. She’ll enjoy that you’re playfully pointing out the financial power dynamic. Maybe she’ll respond “Yeah, sure, lol.” When you go out to eat next time and the waitress comes back with a huge bill say “You’ve got this, right?” She’ll blush and/or laugh, and then you’ll pay.

If you’re sitting silently on a couch together just stare at her for a moment and then boop her on the nose lightly with your finger, and say “BOOP.” She’ll laugh and poke you back.

Play with her like you’d play with a child. This works with women of all ages, it’s just extra relevant for ultra young girls because there’s just no other way with them.

I’m from Europe. When I was in high school I knew a couple of 16-17 years old girls who were dating 20ish guys. I have no idea how they met especially when back then dating a girl 1 year younger than me would have made me feel weird cause she’s younger. I Guess at parties, or public spaces, you can day game and get some numbers, then date.
