I would advise against spending your inheritance on her. You don't want to get the girl with cash. Ask her on a date. You already have a few things in common, so start with the date and if things progress then hey, absolutely bring up the trip idea. I still don't think you should pay for it all, unless things have gotten a bit more serious with the two of you. I am a grown woman and I know for a fact that girls like to be asked out. If she says no, it's okay. At least you won't be left regretting spending so much money on someone who isn't interested in you romantically. Go for it!

First, try to not obsess over her. It will only make you look desperate and act accordingly. Be nonchalant around her and do NOT tell her your plan to spend the inheritence and whatnot. Start slow, start showing (not telling) her you're (sexually) attracted to her. Ask her to hang out sometime and do not under any circumstances tell her how you feel about her. Make your move on the date and try to advance yourself sexually (at least a kiss or a lot of kino). If the NZ thing ever comes up again, tell her you're trying to go soon and ask if she wants to join you. Don't tell her you'll pay her way (and don't). Till then, try to focus on other girls in order to get your mind off of obsessing over her and putting things in perspective. Girls don't like guys who don't have options and obsess over them. From what I read it seems you already know this.
