My last day at the office, and I had to turn some papers into the receptionist. We've never had any real conversation before, but we just had a short exchange where she asked me: What I was going to do for work next, if I was relocating, and if I'm staying in town while I looked for work.

I said my pleasantries, asked how to find her on FB, and that perhaps I would see her around sometime, and she ended with "yeah, I hope that maybe.. definitely I'll see you again."

Was this an invitation to escalate? If so, how should I go about it?
