"Ego" is one of those broad, vague words that doesn't really mean anything. You can't "lose" your ego. The best thing you can do is to disconnect your sense of worth in yourself from what other people think. Most people live on an insane roller coaster where if other people are nice to them and give them validation they feel great and if other people shit on them they feel like shit. You need to disconnect and judge yourself objectively. Are you improving everyday? Are you being a good person? Are you being a jackass? You know what a good person - be that, and don't let other people define you.

More so I mean I want to embarrass the fuck out of my self so I give absolutely no fuck about what people think of me.
I find it easy to embarrass myself when I have friends around and therefore I can open sets when my friends are around but when I am by myself, I feel insecure.

It's not about impressing my friends at all. I genuinely don't give a fuck. But when I am alone I can't be the same.
When I am with my friends it's more so that I am comfortable that people won't be like "oh that guy is a faggot".
It happens when I am by my self anyway and I usually don't give a shit. But it's an irrational fear.
I need to somehow drop my ego to get to the next level.
