So lately I've been trying to wrap my head around how an adult women could rationally "switch the lights" per se on consensual sex and convince herself she was raped. I just listened to Patrice O'Neal tell the Greatest Story Ever Told on Radio and he made an insightful point. Essentially he contended that if sexual strategy is a natural power struggle between men and women perhaps false rape is a tactic in the toolkit of manipulation for acquiring power through the means of victimisation. Do you guys think that that's why now, in this metoo era, it's so common for feminists to filter any sexual activity they dislike (past, present or future) through the prism of harassment, assault and battery?
