Anyone have any fantastic stories to share?

My best one is from a south african friend of mine.

Basically he has a mate who owns a ranch in the middle of nowhere in south africa. He owns a good 8 or nine of these dogs. I'd struggle to call them 'dogs' though. These things are practically wolves. 3 feet high or more with enormous teeth like razors. They stand on the roof when you drive up to the house and all you can see is 8 pairs of green eyes glowing in the dark staring at you...

When they're around him they're friendly and like big puppy's. He plays fights with them (Now we're talking proper play fights here) He runs full pace at them and rugby tackles them to the ground and they love it and won't hurt him.

Basically one day he comes back from the city to find that his door has been kicked in (but he can't see inside). Being south africa he doesn't go straight in but calls the police...

A few minutes later the police turn up, the guy goes inside, gun drawn and all, and comes out about a minute later with shocked eyes as wide as craters and says 'sir, you REALLY don't want to go in there. I'm going to go make a couple of calls...' Naturally curious my friend ventures inside and there's blood all over the walls with bits of flesh everywhere. His dogs are standing in the living room with blood covering their snouts, and flesh hanging from their teeth. Basically, once they'd got the clean up people in they worked out there were THREE black guys who had broken in and been absolutely torn apart. There were no recognisable body parts anywhere! Being south africa the dogs don't have to be put down or anything and he did nothing wrong so he still lives with those dogs!

Never fails to amaze. (Can tone down the blood and gore to suit their persona but yeah...).
