I'm fairly new to this subreddit but I wanted to give a feedback on how my techniques worked on a special game.

So I live in southern France, and I'm used to deal with the sort of girls that are interested in wealthy men, and money in general, that really common here, unfortunately. As a college student I learned how to overcome this and try to find girls more focused on mental abilities and personnality.

Frame : I'm not an anxious guy, nor I have difficulties to approach girls. Actually I'm fairly sociable and find interest in meeting peoples from different origins.

On saturday night I went out in a club that I didn't know as it was away form where I live (different region). Naive me thought this meant there will be no more girls focused on how big my wallet could be. Boy, was I wrong.

In the club : It was pretty crowded and there was more girls than guys, average style and close to 20-25yo (my age). I interacted with multiple women, doing small talk and not caring about rejection (which happened a few times). I usually opened the conversation asking where they came from and seeking into her answer, in order to know more about her and find the optimal approach.

Then, I tried my hand on a HB7, who seemed pretty sociable (she appeared to be alone at the bar). Small talk again, I tell her where I live, and she start to talk about how "life isn't all about money, and that people should focus on the real things that qualify somone". Green light. She seemed interested and we began to dance, firstly 50cm away, then closer and closer.

What went wrong : Not long after, I asked her if she wanted to have a drink (mostly to get to a calm spot, to get K-close). She said yes, and asked for champagne. One drink, two, three, and so on... All on me. At one point, I put my hand on her waist and went to kiss her. She immediatly rejected me, saying that wouldn't go any further. Without any other explanation.

I understood this was just for the drink and all the interest has been faked. The fact is, I've been caught off-guard. I thought, as I was in another region less focused on money, the set changed and I could count more on my personnality, getting closer and build attraction.

TL; DR : Went to another region thinking girls would care less about money, been fooled & rejected by girl caring about money.
