Basically I was out on a date with this girl, we had fun and did quite a bit of kino (she clearly liked me). At the end of the date I accompanied her to a bus stop, we talked and few minutes later the bus came so we had to say our goodbyes quickly, she went for the hug and I just said "gotta do it now" and went for the kiss. She pulled back after a second or two (clearly not into it), smiled and said "risky", I replied "yup" and we both went our ways.

Question is: did I rush it? Since there was no transition from eye contact/hugging or smth, just dived straight in pretty much. Should I have gone for the hug and tried on the second date?
