Alright, I'm going to first say when I first saw this subreddit I thought to myself "what a load of bullshit". But after subbing, reading up and cleaning myself up I have to say. This stuff works!

By all means I'm not getting laid every week or picking up girls left and right, that's not my game. But a lot of the info I learned here got me ballsy enough to cold approach all kinds of girls in public.

I went from nearly throwing up on a girl my first approach to actually keeping eye contact and holding conversations. So to any new guys here, I have a few things to share myself that I have tested out.

Practice, after reading up on this the first thing I did was try it out on a few female friends. Sure enough I got some great reactions, then I just started approaching random girls. Keeping in mind that I expect to fail and slip up really made it easier to get past the AA.

Don't put any girl on a pedestal, I made a grave mistake of taking my rejections and friend zones as personally as I could.

Keep a positive mindset, I'm not a buff guy. I'm a skinny tall white guy and my teeth aren't that pretty, but I've been complimented on my looks enough times to start feeling very confident. I began to dress nice and clean myself up. Working out and doing other healthy things will make you look and feel great.

Now for my example of an approach I've done I'll use what I did today. Now since I've been told plenty of times I'm very funny, I really like to use humor as my tool to approach girls. So I decided to try something new and created a "girlfriend application". It was a small 4 page app with some basic and funny questions on it.

Now, I know this sounds stupid but the girls in my age group love this stuff. It also gave me something to stand on while introducing myself. I grab there shoulder to get there attention, keep eye contact, shake hands and briefly speak to them. Hand them the application with a smirk and walk off. Now I choose my marks at random and only done this a few times.

I do not expect to be contacted by these girls at all and look forward to rejection to see what I can learn from it. With that I'm feeling really good and have had a major confidence boost from this.

Anyways I know this post might be a waste of time for some of you, but damnit you guys are great. I'm really thankful someone introduced me to this sub, I'm not sure id be in the same position I am now if I wasn't. Good luck and keep going.
