Tl/dr: girl doesn’t seem to have stable job, tells me she does t have work today, then tells me she just finished a job but avoided telling me what she does when asking.

Started talking to 20 yr couple days ago.

Tried to kick it thurs night ( I thought it was Friday) she declined due to work in the am. I also had work so i told her it was better to reschedule.

Well, we were talking last night, and she said something to her roommate along the lines of “and that’s why I didn’t work today” as if she finally had the explanation/justification for why.

Well, this am, we are making plans for tonight. She stated she didn’t work till next week (after the weekend) so we confirm for tonight.

I go about my work day, to find she texted me, telling me about her day and how she actually got back “from a job that was nice, almost 2 hours”

Confused af at what kind of work would be sporadic like that (I don’t think she is a massage therapist or anything) I just respond to the texts with “what do you do?”

Couple hours go by with no response, eventually I get this

“Hey sorry smoked a blunt forgot to reply”

Followed by

“Anyyyyyywayyyyyyyy”

She overtly avoided my question. She isn’t stupid. Very game aware for her age, and tbh if I didn’t flip the script to make her try and qualify herself to me in the beginning, I would believe I’m falling into her frame, but I’m not.

She’s texting me way more than I’m responding, and initiated scheduling plans for tonight.

Do I ask again? Wait for tonight? Forget about it?
