My first approach of a complete stranger. I was working out with my brother saw a cute girl working out, made solid eye contact with her 3-4 times for 2-4 seconds every time.thats when I became confident my brother said he also made eye contact with her a few times. She "coincidentally" came to pick up a plae right next to us. I motioned to her to take of her headphones. Asked her name shook hands said he she was cute and that I'd never seen her before. Found out she works there on morning shift. Asked her if she was down to hangout. Her reply was she doesn't normally go out with strangers but that I can still message her.

So I'm confused at that.she still gave me her number without no coercion just said she doesn't go out with stranger but that I can still message her. Is that rejection or ...... Oh and I don think I built up rapport I literally ejected in 2 minutes by saying I have to go workout but that we should hangout before asking for her number.what do you guys think? Oh and I'm definitely still gonna hit her up.. Edit:was my ejection to quick?I mean it is a gym so ppl are there to workout but this way I don't think I built a connection
