I have a date tonight with a girl I met on Friday night while out. I'm going to take her to a couple places that are walking distance from my apartment. I'm going to be picking her up from her place to bring her back over here. I have two options for how to start this date.

1.) We park at my apt and walk to location #1 from here. It's probably a 10-minute walk, but it's gorgeous outside and I like the idea of having more close time for opportunity to be physical etc. My perceived potential downside is that it looks like, by starting at my apt, I'm trying too hard to get her back there when the date is over, which we will have to do, because I have to give her a ride back.

2.) Park at a public structure closer to the venues and farther from my apt. This eliminates the need to get back to my place to pick up my car, but it also eliminates at least part of the walking, and it feels a bit stupid to pay for parking when I live so close.

What do you think? Park at my place or in the garage? I recognize this is me overthinking logistics, but I'm curious nonetheless.
