Here is what I do every single time with girls from tinder or various other online dating places

On Friday morning i ask what their plans are for that night. 9 times out of 10 they will say "just going out with some girlfriends to _____. You should meet us". Great you have an invite and she is willing to see you in person. Lead her on to make her think that you fully intend on going and then right around 11pm say that so-and-so needs your help moving in the morning, what about rescheduling for lunch tomorrow? You get points for at least not cancelling all together and you don't have to meet her shitty friends and buy her expensive drinks all night. Pick a casual place near where YOU live and tell her to meet you there. Make her come to you. Pick a place that you are comfortable at and if you happen to know a bartender or a server there then the tension might be a little more manageable for you.

Ask her open ended questions (but remember this isn't 20 questions so don't drill her) and let her talk the entire time...remember... you already know everything there is to know about you already. The point of this is to learn more about her as a person. If there is silence for a minute don't panic she is probably nervous too and one of you will quickly come up with something to say

Also leave your phone in your pocket, don't bring it out even once. just be yourself and ask questions that you are generally interested in and never ask about past relationships or talk about your own. I personally never talk about Religion, Politics, or Race because they are so one sided that you have a 50% chance of pissing that person off or getting put off about what they said yourself.

The fact that she showed up and put in the effort to come see you where you wanted to go should give you enough confidence that she is there FOR YOU. So just know that you are the man and have fun with it.

Lastly: If you are not funny, do not try and make her laugh.

This works for me... it might not work for you so just find your own groove... dating is a numbers game and you can't be afraid of rejection because it happens to everyone. We just brush it off, and turn to the next girl. There are lots of them
