I recently had major surgery to remove a tumor from my left inner thigh. I had subsequent Dr. visits 2-3 times a week for about 2 months. From the start, I hit it off with an intern that would help out with each visit - let's call her Erica, because that's her name. It seemed pretty quickly that I became the favorite patient of the the Dr., the nurse, as well as the intern (we saw each other so much we all started talking about our personal lives, laughing and making jokes, I brought them coffee, etc). I'm a very outgoing person and love talking to almost every person I can get my (figurative) hands on. About half-way through is when I started to feel like there was something between Erica and I, but I didn't want to embarrass her or put her internship on the line by asking her out in the office - I felt it might have been crossing the line and could have possibly compromised her job. She told me about her other job which doesn't come close to having the level of professionalism that a Dr.'s office might.

So, here's my question... Do I earn stalker status if I call her work or show up looking for her to ask her out? I'm also interested in hearing any other suggestions at how I could handle this. Thanks!
