Well guys I just roused myself from sleep after a night out to tell you this so forgive me if I sound groggy.

When opening its entirely important to be outcome dependent when approaching. That much is preached on this Subreddit as well as some other classic advice: e.g. be spontaneous, 3 second rule, don't give a fuck etc.

Tonight I was out with some friends and at the end of an adventurous night I saw this sexy little thing in these amazing pants. I interrupt conversation with my two guy friends immediately and walk up to her with no idea what I am going to say. As soon as I am in her personal vicinity she offers me her drink saying her sister is making me finish it. After some convo I admit, "I saw you over here in these amazing pants (lightly brush pant hip with hand) and I just had to say hi to the girl wearing them." She then offers to have me put my hand in her pockets to see how soft they are. This is my queue to put both my hands in from behind and comment how great they are/how had we not danced yet in the night. She responds well and I continue escalating. End up K and # closing.

This was at the very end of the night past last call, past multiple approaches throughout the night, and even past some rejections. The point is that I saw a little spotlight on this girl and just went for it. More experienced Sedditors will know what I'm talking about (esp with the abruptly walking away from friends part) and I want less experienced Sedditors to glean that these sort of small impulses are a sign to react and make yourself GO, even if you're not sure what you are going to say just GO.
