So I've been into game for a few months now, but this is actually my first ever field report. I just transferred to a new school in a big city, and after reading "Conquer Your Campus," I've been working on building a really great social circle instead of focusing all my attention on cold approach.

Last night my buddy was throwing an Xmas/Ugly Sweater party, so mobbed over there with a group of 10-12 guys/girls with a carton of eggnog and a bottle of brandy.

Got to the party, and I started feeling like I was immediately in state. I was opening random sets complementing girls on their Christmas sweaters, and teasing the girls who hadn't dressed up for the party.

Hooked a few sets, but wasn't really invested in any of the girls I was talking to so I kept bouncing around. Eventually I get a text from a girl I had met the night before saying she was coming to the party.

I go down and let her in with my key and bring her back up. I'm talking to her for a couple minutes when this other girl I've had a little crush on comes over and is kinoing like crazy and flirting. She walks away, and I lean into my roommate and tell him, "Bro you gotta keep this chick busy for like 5 minutes. I'll be right back." I leave her in the kitchen and chase down the other girl.

Find her on the balcony, talk for a minute and pull her in for the makeout. At this point I'm really stoked, but I also feel bad for inviting that other girl and ditching her, so I head back to the kitchen. We hang out for a bit, then head back to my place.

Deal with some LMR, but take it slow and eventually we bang out, then convince her that it's best for her not to sleep here since I share a room with someone. I pay for a cab, and she takes off.

Takeaways from the night -If you're college age, I strongly recommend reading "Conquer your campus." You can download the ebook online, and it's a really interesting perspective on game while you're in school. Having a great social circle gives you status, and makes parties way more fun. Social circle game combined with a little cold approach experience is deadly.

-One of my friends introduced me to this model (probably a 9), and all my game totally went out the window. I was just asking chodey questions (Where are you from, what's your major etc..). I can game 7s and 8s all day, but I'm still having a hard time talking to the ultra-hot girls. I know I gotta just stop putting them on a pedestal.

-State is huge. I went into the night really excited and really energetic, and it allowed me to meet a lot of people without a lot of approach anxiety. I think being present and just getting yourself hyped to go out really pays off.

-Dance, be friendly, and be the guy that everyone wants to be around.
