Well, to get started I must say that I'm a 16 y.o male from an European country; I'm tall, white, neither skinny nor fat and even though I wouldn't define myself handsome I'm pretty sure I'm not ugly. My dating experience is 0 and I've overcome social anxiety only a couple of months ago.

So... a couple of weeks ago I've (re)started Nofap (I know not all of you like it but I just wanted to try, for the sake of it) and had a confidence boost so I've decided to text a girl I know (not too well though) and ask her out. We go to the same highschool (she's 2 years younger) and do an afterschool activity toghether (though I've seen her like 3 times in person before as we do different things) and she had written me before once asking me something about school and after that we chatted for a bit.

So I texted her, we chatted and made a few jokes and when I thought the right time had come I proposed her to see eachother in 3 days in a local bookshop that's also a hipsterish tea/coffe shop near a park (I wanted to play the "I'm more mature and deep than the guys of your age" card).

She first asked if we would be alone or in company and I replied something along the lines of "only if you'd like to invite someone else". Then she said that she's ok with going alone but asked "why" and I replied "to get to know eachother better".

She said that she was pretty sick but she hoped to get better before the date and that if she would still be sick that day we could arrange it for another time.

So you see that it has gone pretty smoothly and I also sensed some interest from her tone while texting. My friends (some of them are "players") have told me, though, that I asked her out too quickly and that I should have waited to get to know her more before doing it (I thought, that this way I'd show her more confidence and that I'm a guy that takes something when he wants it).

Now, as the date is tomorrow, I alternate between confidence ("It will go fine") and desperation ("oh shit why did I have to ask this girl I barely know out") and I really hope that during the actual date only the confident part will prevail (it's my first date ever, btw so I guess "congrats to me :))").

If you could tell me if I did something wrong and give me some "tips and tricks" for tomorrow (especially for being confident and keeping it cool) I'd be really grateful.

Best wishes; even the simple fact that I've got a date is 70% thanks to you guys, so I'd like to thank you a lot!

P.S. sorry for my not-so-perfect English, it's not my first language (and neither the second)
