1) She says this so she can hamster that she is not emotionally manipulative when in reality she uses guys for favors.

2) she is trying to invoke the inner white knight that she thinks all guys have so you will chivalrously come to her aid

3) She says this to put your guard down so she has an easier time manipulating you.

4) as said above a shit test to see if she can control you.

1) Don't overthink shit. 2) Don't do anything for a woman in anticipation of future benefit. 3) Treat everything that comes out of a woman's mouth as an opportunity to fail a shit test.

If I heard that line my response would be "if you think you can force me to do anything then you haven't been paying attention."

She's probably just shit testing you. Women are just naturally emotionally manipulative. It depends on the question, but often women just think they know what they want but want a man who can take charge and knows what he wants. Just do what you want and know that you have the right to follow your desires as a man
