Awesome. I had a similar experience about a month ago. Went out to the dance floor, actually danced, by myself. Every girl I tried to talk to or dance with scurried away. But I didn't go home and mope about it. I smiled, I looked up at the sky and remembered all the stuff I read on this reddit. I was proud of myself for dancing and for trying. I actually tried, which is huge for me. Yea, I'm tired of being beta, it's whack. It doesn't solve ANYTHING.

You vocalised and wrote your failures but I think it's just as important to write what you learned.

It's great what you did to step out of your comfort zone. But don't be content with failure.

Change your approach up next time, maybe try a different outfit, different cologne, shave/don't shave.

Keep experimenting.
