Just recently stopped talking to this girl that I was invested in since a little before Christmas.

Everything was natural at first with her, but she came with me with the not ready for a relationship because of her parents deal. (They don't believe in interracial dating, not unheard of. My last relationship had the same thing going on with her step dad).

Basically asked if we could be friends, she started talking to her ex and even tried talking to me about him. I made it clear I didn't give a fuck about him and realized that I was falling for a trap by giving her "just friends" when I never cared for that type of relationship.

Was tired of being fake to myself when I know what I can and can't do. I can't do just friends with a girl I care for/like a lot.

My mentality from the beginning of interacting with her to recently went from confident and willing to walk away to pathetic and scared to see her out of my life.
