A little context: So a girl who is unavailable, but I really really like came over for a party. Everyone was having a good time. Later in the night she grabs one of my guitars and secluded herself from the party and is jamming. I ask if I could join, she smiles and says yea. We jammed the night away. When we were done she asked me a bunch of questions about technique. Then she goes feel my fingers and how soft they are. Now this to me was intimate, she left them out for a long time. She eventually had me touch them again. Everyone left the party but she stayed around and we talked. I wasn't going to try anything because she has a boyfriend. Before she left we made plans to play smash bros the next day with some of her friends (a lady that smashes and plays guitar? Amazing) Eventually she left and I was optimistic that I at least made an impression.
Next day were smashing with some friends and she keeps asking my buddy and I if we want to join her and her boyfriend for drinks. We declined a few times because we had plans and well I really didn't think that would be a fun evening. On our drive home my friend says "was it just me or did "girl" hit on you?" I don't know if she did; however, she was very persistent.
Anyways, today I sent her a message and linked an amazing guitar player named Jon Gomn. It tied into our conversation from the party so well. She replied and said "hey, thanks man" along with some other stuff about how her technique needs improvement. My question is: by saying "hey man" did she instantly shut down my attempts to potentially court her? My gut instinct says that you wouldn't greet someone you were interested in like that. Thinking on it I'm not sure.
