Respect her choice and move on? If a girl rejects me on grounds I can't control, I'm never going to push it, but you bet your ass I'm still going to try to cultivate a friendship. Older women have a lot to offer when you put the whole sex thing aside, and female friends are always a nice thing to have.

When I was 20 or 21, there was a 29 year old girl at the bar, and we quickly hit it off. After discovering ages, the entire night turning into nothing but negs regarding her being too old, and her joking about me being too young. I'd be asking her if it was seniors night at the bar, if I was grabbing a round of drinks I'd ask if she gets a discount because of her age, I'd look at the time and say she should probably get going since she needs to get up for the Price is Right, I'd ask if there were any good yard sales she was planning to visit the following day, etc. Memorable time, and great laughs by the both of us.

In your case, some simple replies...

'Too young for what?'
'You can't keep up with the young ones any longer?'
If he says anything about you being too young for a relationship, then tell her you were never looking for a relationship.

Well it depends on your intentions ..looking for a LTR, just move on because it's probably going to be an issue for her.

Looking for something casual, just agree and amplify ..treat it as a shit test.
