Movie and dinner dates are usually sworn off around Seddit, but if you end up doing one of those you can have other tactics for the payment setup between you too.

Whenever I end up at a movie date (never a first or second date) I usually offer to pay for the movie tickets but before I do I will tell her that she has to buy us a box of popcorn and a drink (that way we can both share the cost of going on a date and even though we are in a movie we are still interacting with those items)
