This summer, a really cute girl and I will be working on a research project for 3 months. For a majority of the week, her and I will be working together out in the field.

Where we will be working is pretty remote, so it is essentially wilderness living.

She and I had previously taken a class before together, and I was instantly attracted. I remember on the first day of class, I looked around to see who was in the same class, and she was the cutest girl by far. I was instantly attracted. Throughout the course of the class, I didn't talk to her much, just amicably like classmates. I made sure to always smile and be nice to be around; I hope.

Now...as luck would have it, she decided to work for the researcher that I am studying under. My research professor asked if she would would be willing to work this summer and she was willing. Now, she is paired with me, and us two are going to be out in the remote wilderness together.

I am stuck between a rock and a hard place...I want to show that I am attracted, but this could ruin our "work" relationship. Part of me hopes that she knew that this job would require working with me, and that she has at least done attraction for me. Ie, I the flip side, she is just doing this for the paycheck, and I wasn't even considered.

I have been working on not expecting anything, but instead, writing to achieve my goals...but here, and with this girl? I'm stuck. I'm afraid that by over thinking this, that I am dooming myself before it even starts, but I can hardly not think of her because this is all my summer will be.
