How to drum up conversation without sounding too interested?

Do a Search and you will soon find out it is a horrible idea to have a conversation through text messages. Most times the conversation gets boring, girl lose interest, and you sit there staring at your phone weeping softly wondering why she hasn't replied to your messages. Plus you can't read body language and physically escalade.

From what I gathered Text messages should be used only for logistics (ie setting up a date).

So send her a message along the lines like, "Hey grabbing some drinks with some friends at a ridiculous bar, message me back for location an details."

Hello again! The issue is, you should not feel the need to keep the conversation going ..if it Peters out, Then she is not interested, because you are not being interesting. Your job is to make it so she is wondering how she can keep the conversation going. Plus, why do you even want to "keep the conversation going "? Who the fuck cares about a conversation anyway? Your goal is to get laid, not continue some lame.conversation about how hard your mid terms.are

I used to think that text messaging was a great way to build rapport with women then I realized all you end up doing is making her think of you as a series of words on a digital screen. This isn't going to get you anywhere. Now, the only time I use any conversation is to lead into logistics.

Me: Hey, how was that party you mentioned?

Her: blah blah blah

Me: Cool, I am going to X later for X, text me later so we can meet up.
