Hey guys, longtime lurker but I thought I ought to give back to the community with this small, but useful tip:

Since such a large part of pick up is flipping the script when talking to girls and having them try to impress you instead of the other way around, something I like to incorporate into the conversation is "cool points". As I'm asking questions about the girl and getting to know her, I playfully award her cool points if she says something I find, well, cool as well as deduct them if she does the opposite. For example, if a girl tells me she's really into game of thrones I'll throw up a high five and say, "you like GOT? alright, that just earned 10 cool points right there" but if she says she's such a big Sam Smith fan i'll give a playful gasp and say, "okay I'm sorry but you lost a few cool points for that one. You're gonna have to work a little bit to earn them back" (must be done with a smile on your face). When said in a playful manner it has almost always gotten a laugh for me as well as lets the girl know i'm the one judging her coolness and not the other way around.
