Okay so here's my problem, when it comes to girls, I tend to find that for girls that I like but am not particularly interested in in a relationship kinda way, I can talk to them, connect, even kino extremely easily, it's probably because I don't worry about rejection which boosts my confidence significantly, and I often end up have friends (that are girls) who end up being into me, because the way I act with them leads them to believe I'm into them too. But as soon as I start seeing a girl as potentially more than friends, it all falls apart, I'm scared of talking to her, afraid she'll ignore me etc. The worst is when I start getting know girl, I'm confident, she shows attraction, things are going great, but as soon as I start thinking, "huh, I kinda like her", boom, I don't act natural around her, and it becomes so much harder for me to interact with her.
So this ends up with me having a bunch of girls I like as friends to be into me, and the only girl I'm into, not only thinks I'm not interrested because I don't talk to her nearly as much, but also isn't attracted as much because of how I act differently around her compared to the others. Or sometimes, I get to know a girl pretty well, and as soon as I see she's clearly into me and I'm kinda into her, I freeze, and I can't make myself take it a step further.
Does this ever happen to you guys? And what do you do to avoid it? I'm sure that if I could be the guy I am with most girls when I'm with girls I'm into, I would be so much more successful.
Thanks in advance.
