Here are some random notes I have compiled over years of pickup:

  1. Pickup is like buying a lottery ticket you paid for with your time. The more lottery tickets you buy the higher your chances of hitting it big.

  2. It's not rejection it's practice. Every time a girl says no to me I see it as practice for the next time.

  3. Opportunity is the intersection of practice and luck.

  4. Smile. A smile can be a powerful tool of communication.

  5. Don't blame yourself for randomness. You have no idea where a girl is in her life when you ask her out.

  6. Three tiers of asking. The first tier is asking if they would like to hang out sometime. If they say yes hand them your phone and tell them to put in their number. The second tier is if they say no to hanging out then ask for their number. The third tier is if they say no to that then ask for their Facebook. A number without a purpose is a waste of a number.

  7. Pickup is about defying your social boundaries and asking for what you want.

  8. Abundance mentality. You should have a lot of women in your life and be involved in a lot of activities. You can fake it until you make it. Be busy, busy, busy.

  9. Ask yourself why you are doing pickup. For validation? Sex? A relationship? Then tailor your pickup to that goal.

  10. Pickup is about you not them. Pickup is about learning how to approach strangers, be confident, close, and talk about yourself. It is a process of self improvement that ultimately leads to the goal.

These are some of the things I have picked up over years of approaching. I hope they help out.
